SeaLake Capital is an independent investment firm seeking to grow and develop established North American businesses and operate them over a long term investment horizon, in partnership with the founders who built them.
Thomas Adamo
Mr. Adamo is a founding partner of SeaLake Capital. Previously, he held roles in M&A advisory, investment banking, and high frequency trading. Mr. Adamo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stanford University.
Magnus Hepburn
Mr. Hepburn is a founding partner of SeaLake Capital. Previously, he was involved with several of his own ventures and has spent time in multiple roles across American manufacturing, including sales, operations, and personnel. Mr. Hepburn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Queen's University.

What we look for
We look for strong businesses with a wide moat that have a long history of providing high quality service to their customers and have built relationships and brands on years of quality work and value delivered.
We have enormous respect for the founders and teams who have spent those years building these tremendous, enduring businesses and look to partner with them to continue the vision and dedication that they have set about creating. Owners are encouraged to stay invested alongside us as we work together to grow what they have planted with added capital and expertise.
We hold on an indefinite timeline, and invest in businesses that have been around for decades because we want to hold them for decades.
What we look for.
We are operators first. We have the capital to close quickly and treat the seller and their team with the seriousness their work has earned.
How we work
Most sellers we meet have spent decades building something real. They deserve a buyer who will take the same care with the business they have spent years developing. We come with our own capital, a clear thesis, and the willingness to move at the speed the situation requires.
After close, we work alongside the management team in the business, deploying the capital necessary to make the company stronger and keep the culture that has been built over years.
